The Dark Knight is a fantastic piece of cinema. Tucked in amongst the blockbuster explosions are tricky ethical dilemmas like how far do we go in fighting evil. It's also got cool magic tricks involving disappearing pencils but as I'm not confident of getting that scene into the newspapers, I chose to dwell on the ethics of privacy violation (it goes without saying, no lewd & crude punchlines). The winning punchline was submitted by Mark. There were 14 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon. You can read the transcript of IRC Judging Session #557 where we decided the winning punchline.
