Battlesev Galaxative

I confess I didn't have high hopes when I heard they were 're-imagining' Battlestar Galactica. Remakes of camp TV shows from the 70's is always a dodgy business. However, after the mini-series, I was intrigued. By the end of season one, I was a fan. By the middle of season two, I was a diehard convert, ready to proselytise anyone who would listen. The way I see it, the new Battlestar is the perfect sci-fi series. It has the production values of Star Trek, the story arcs and mythos of Babylon 5 and the acting chops of West Wing. I've always been a fan of Ron Moore since he helped shape Next Gen into my favourite Star Trek incarnation. I don't know why I was such a doubting Thomas with RDM at the helm.
