I saw Prince Caspian on the weekend. Now I love the Narnia books. I'm currently reading The Magician's Nephew to Gaby, which is a hard sell as she keeps asking for Captain Underpants (somehow the pinnacle of children's literature is trumped by a superhero garbed only in underwear). And the first Narnia movie is something special - mythical, charming, magical and Georgie Henley is such a cutie pie :-) But the second movie seems to have been made by a completely different studio - it's dark, violent, Peter is a decapitating, killing machine and Susan has turned into freaking Legolas! So I'm using this week's cartoon as an opportunity to have a good rant about my disappointment in the new film :-) The winning punchline was submitted by spjung.
