One of my favourite moments in the book and movie was Eowyn facing down the Witch King and fell beast (and not just because I've got a thing for Miranda Otto - I loved that part of the book for years before the movies came out). I rewatched some of Return of the King recently and considered it from the Witch King's point of view. Having his steed beheaded would be the Middle Earth version of getting your car totalled - now how is he supposed to get around? The winning punchline was submitted by Dmitri.
