Attercop

I have many questions about the upcoming Hobbit movie. Who will play Bilbo Baggins? Will the spiders actually speak? At what point in the story will they split the movies into two? According to the director, it's an utterly obvious point in the story. I think most likely, they'll end with a big blockbuster scene - Bilbo versus the giant swarm of spiders with the cliffhanger being their capture by the Elves (cue gratuitous Orlando Bloom cameo). But I digress. This cartoon looks at that peculiar scene where Bilbo taunts the spiders with name calling like 'Attercop' and 'Tomnoddy'. Even as a young child reading the book, I always thought this scene was a bit silly. But I am looking forward to seeing just how literally they transfer this scene to film.
