Nuke the fridge

Jumping the shark has become the default term to describe the moment when a movie or TV series loses the plot. However, the phrase does date back to 1977 so it's good to see a new millennium version arriving to take it's place: 'nuke the fridge'. This is a reference to the latest Indiana Jones movie where Indy is about to get blown up by a nuclear bomb so he hides in a fridge, emerging without a scratch. Not one of George and Steve's best cinematic moments, to be sure! The winning punchline was submitted by law_80. There were 15 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon.
