This is based on an old full page cartoon which I never thought to use as a Sunday contest due to the final punchline not really open to many variations. However, with the recent sunday contests having punchline contests for the first and final row, I had the brainwave of having the punchline contest for the first row only. SEVNOTE - submit punchlines only for the first row (Barf's punchline) as the third row punchline is already decided. The winning punchline was submitted by e of PI. There were 13 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon. You can read the transcript of IRC Judging Session #404 where we decided the winning punchline. This cartoon was archived on 2005-01-02.
