I saw Star Trek 11 last week so brace yourself for a bunch of spoiler laden cartoons in upcoming cartoons (in other words, stop reading now if you haven't seen the movie yet). I had to smile at the writer's technique to avoid the whole canon issue - just change the timeline with time travel. I knew time travel would be used before going into the movie but I thought they'd just use it to tweak minor canon elements like where Kirk met Spock, what year he graduated from Star Fleet academy, that kind of minutia. I was surprised they went the whole hog and destroyed a whole planet. Anyway, I digress. This week has Spook react to seeing a version of himself hundreds of years from the future. The winning punchline was submitted by Latin From Manhattan. There were 14 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon. This cartoon was archived on 2009-05-29.
