Star Wars is famous for it's big soapie-style revelations. I still have fond memories of watching Gaby gasp when she watched Empire Strikes Back a few years back when Darth Vader dropped his bombshell. And the prequels keep the revelations coming hard and fast. C3PO was made by Darth Vader. R2D2 was Luke's mother's droid. Chewbacca was chums with Yoda way back. But the biggest revelation was one George tried to slip under the radar, couching it in technobabble and mystic mumbo jumbo. This week's cartoon exposes George's biggest shock revelation for what it really is. The winning punchline was submitted by Marv. There were 14 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon. You can read the transcript of IRC Judging Session #558 where we decided the winning punchline. This cartoon was archived on 2008-09-02.
