I don't pretend to understand it fully myself as I've missed large gaps of Stargate but one of the latest episodes I've seen refer to Colonel O'Neil as 'the next stage in human evolution'. Whether that evolution is forwards or backwards is another matter entirely! The winning punchline was submitted by Dave Roe.
