Discarded technology

The Sevgate team are constantly building their supplies with alien weapons and ships left behind by the Goa'way (sevilised version of the Goauld) and various other aliens. Why do all these advanced races keep leaving all their technology behind? The winning punchline was submitted by Eric. There were 14 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon.
