While the burly brawl in Matrix Reloaded is one of the highlights of the film, I always wondered why Neo bothered to fight and risk getting 'Agent Smithed' when he could've flown off at any time. Of course we all know the real reason (otherwise we wouldn't have gotten a cool fight scene). Nevertheless, here's an attempt to come up with a plausible reason.
