This cartoon was inspired by the TNG episode 'Emissary' where a Klingoff ambassador they pick up in deep space just happens to be Worf's old girlfriend. Whatever happened to 'where noone's gone before'? I rehashed the cartoon several years later in the Sunday Contest - check out the newer drawing at Sev Space ss23 (Admiral Fluke) to see the difference of several years cartooning experience. The drawing is improved(Pinchhard's face in frame 2 is much funnier in the rehashed cartoon and I even bothered to design a new sandwichy sevship). The writing is crisper. And yes, the punchline from the caption contest IS funnier. This cartoon was archived on 2003-03-24.
