This episode, a Devaston enters the scene. Yes, I know it's a big coincidence but sitting around watching empty space does not a good story make. The Devastons are sentient black holes, roaming space devouring matter (that's why there's a Great Void adjacent to their galaxy - the Devastons ate everything). How you draw a black hole is a toughie - by definition, you can't see it. But I read somewhere that the phenomena of light bending around it would cause you to see a concentration of stars around it's edge so I went for a (fairly crappy looking) approximation of that.
