Big Chin and co penetrate deep into the bowels of Synthiona, originally built as an artificial moon around the planet Ion. As the swelling population recklessly mined their home planet for materials to develop Synthiona, eventually the planet imploded. Of course, drawing a synthetic planet designed to look like it's a tangled mess of continually expanding towers is a lot of work (for a lazy cartoonist like me) so I just shoved it into the corners of the frames. :-) This cartoon was archived on 2003-05-11.
