This week's cartoon was inspired by an event last summer where Gaby and I went down a waterslide. I went first then waited down the bottom to catch her. And waited. And waited. It took so long, I was beginning contemplated climbing up the slide to fetch her. Eventually she slid down at a snail crawl. What had begun with excited anticipation ended in timid fear (it's hard to believe this is the same 6 year old that was skiing down the slopes a few weeks ago so quickly I could barely keep up with her). The winning punchline was submitted by mammakins. There were 17 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon.
