Finally found duckie

In the real life story of duckie, after fruitless hours of scouring the house, I eventually went back to Gaby's school, photocopied the original sheet where she cut out the bird and brought it home for her. Excitedly, I cut it out and dramatically presented it to her. By this time, she was over duckie and barely showed any interest at all. Ah, the fickle whimsies of a toddler!
