Oven watching

I don't often bake cakes (usually once a year for Wendy's birthday) but when Gaby had a friend over for a play date, I thought I'd try baking one with the girls for fun. The fact that I used a baking dish half the size of what I was meant to didn't help but watching the cake ooze out of the dish as it slowly rose did keep the girls occupied for a good 20 minutes. What has that to do with this week's cartoon? Nothing really but the incident did inspire this idea :-) The winning punchline was submitted by mammakins.
