When I'm writing Sevspace Sundays, often it's a case of writing and rewriting the sequence of words until something worthwhile emerges. In the case of spoofing the Da Vinci Code, it took a number of approaches before I honed in on the final writing. My first attempt went off on a strange tangent with 'Flurgbut' which I kinda liked but Wendy (my harsh editor) put the kibosh on the 'very, very lonely' gag at the end. This cartoon was archived on 2006-07-02.
