This week, we had an oil tanker beached in Newcastle, Australia (my sister lives within a short drive from the beach). While it's very much a local event, I guess the disaster of an oil spill (which was thankfully avoided this time around) is something understood worldwide. The winning punchline was submitted by OsamaBombadil. There were 17 finalist punchlines chosen for this cartoon.
