Trapped miners

I don't know if this news has reached outside Australia (I'd be interested to hear if it has) but the Australian media has for the last few weeks been obsessed with two trapped miners. The mine collapsed and miraculously, these two guys were discovered alive, trapped in a tiny cage deep underground. The process of digging them out took over a week, giving the media a chance to develop a feeding frenzy the like had never been seen before. It took a special drilling machine just to penetrate the wall of journalists around the area. Once they were rescued, a bidding war raged to snaffle the rights to their story, getting up towards 3 million dollars! The winning punchline was submitted by Tobias.
