The Hadron supercollider has had a dramatic history. A worker died during construction. Before it's opening, protesters claimed it would create a black hole that would suck up the Earth. And shortly after activation, it broke down. Now two scientists have published research suggesting it's actually being sabotaged by "God particles" created by the collider that have travelled back in time to stop the collider from working. My suspicion is the paper is actually the brainchild of two nerdy scientists giggling away over some Back to the Future DVDs and having a bit of a lark with some eggheady equations.
