This cartoon is in response to the furore that erupted on June 1 2006 when Cricket Australia released tickets to the upcoming Ashes series. Demand was so high, the websites selling tickets melted from server load. To make matters worse, although tickets were only avaiable to Australians, thousands of English 'imposters' snuck in under the radar and pinched thousands of tickets. Now Cricket Australia are saying they'll cancel any tickets obtained illegitimately although I fail to see how they can enforce this. Unless they employ the method suggest in the cartoon above...
