Brief explanation from Joeno to explain some strange anomalies in this week's log: "15 minutes, before the JS would actually start, I was lurking quietly in #sevtrek, being the only one there. Then, just when The Great Wizzard entered, I got a "Connection Reset by Peer" message. Trying to reconnect and all, I noticed that the connection of Chello (my ISP) to the backbone (level3) was failing. Of course, this wasn't too handy: Both tallybots, Majel AND Marina are running from the Chello network, and both couldn't connect to the server now. So, when the JS should have started for about half an hour, we decided to go to a different server. Now, half of the judges couldn't reach that one, but we had nothing else, so we did it that way. Still, Marina had a lag compared to the others of 30 seconds, but it was better than nothing. Now, half an hour later - we had done Sev Trek and Sci Fi - the problems seemed over, and I could finally get back to magicstar, where we finished the JS 'in peace'.
